Go! Real Estate utilizes a powerful combination of cutting-edge tools that dramatically reduce the waste stream associated with typical real estate brokers. Our ability to use these systems effectively means dramatic savings of time, energy and fossil-fuels for our agents and clients. The Go! brand is centered on progressive ideas that work!
Go! is lead by partners Joyanne Sloan and Chip Lamason who bring their broad understanding of environmental issues to their roles as business owners. By focusing their marketing efforts on web-based media, including on-line business forms and display advertsing on the top real estate internet portals, Go! reduces its use of transportation and paper goods.
Joyanne founded the Green Pages Directory, a nationwide business-to-consumer and business-to-business directory of companies dedicated to sustainable products and practices. She’s an avid organic gardener and a Community Centered Herbalist following the Wise Woman tradition which emphasizes self-care and locally-harvested nutritive plants rather than exotic remedial herbs. Her experience includes adult education, technology mentoring and classes in cooking, growing and using culinary and medicinal herbs.
She’s an ECOpreneur and Green Living advocate. Joyanne brings a broad range of life experience and formal training to every role she plays; applying enthusiasm, creativity and clarity towards lasting success both personally and professionally. Her gift is in cultivating deeper awareness in a way that invites others to shine with greater brilliance than they ever thought possible.
Chip served as an Appellate Judicial Officer, Senior Enforcement Attorney and Senior Program Attorney with the U.S. Environmental
Protection Agency over a fifteen year period. His career was highlighted by participation in landmark regulatory negotiations underlying the Reformulated Gasoline Program. Further, Chip won numerous awards for his development of the Supplemental Civil Penalty Policy, which channeled civil penalty funds into environmental projects rather than to the general U.S. Treasury.
Chip’s final years at U.S. EPA were spent with the Chesapeake Bay Program as Senior Attorney. The CBP is a multi-governmental consortium of Federal and State partners dedicated to the improvement of the quality of the Chesapeake Bay through responsible and sustainable development practices.
Chip has a lifelong interest in start-ups, particularly with non-profits. He has produced a nationally touring theater company, served on the boards of athletic organizations, served as Director of Development for the New Orleans Musicians Clinic, and is involved with numerous civic organizations on Vashon.
A lifelong musician, Chip has performed and recorded with several bands and is currently working with the Vashon band, Resonance. Chip is particularly interested in traditional fiddle music from West Virginia.
